Dear BELS Members,
It’s time to renew your BELS membership for 2024!
Hopefully you have taken advantage of your BELS member benefits over the past year. By renewing your membership, you will maintain access to:
- Free virtual social and professional development events and webinars, as well as a library of recorded sessions
- The job board and members-only email discussion list
- A reduced members-only recertification fee
- A 30% discount on PerfectIt licenses
- A 20% discount on several resource materials from the University of Chicago Press
All this and more for ONLY $45!
New this year is the Emeritus membership level, which costs only $25 annually. This level is for certified editors who:
- Are age 60 or older
- Are retired from editing
- Have paid full membership dues for the past 5 years (or 25 years in total)
Emeritus members retain all regular membership benefits except for the freelance directory listing. If you meet the above criteria and would like to renew as an Emeritus member, please complete and submit this form.
To renew as a standard BELS member: Login to your BELS account and view the invoice located in your member profile, or click on the invoice link located at the bottom of your renewal email.
The deadline for 2024 renewal is December 31, 2023, so don’t wait!
